September 19, 2006 Board Meeting Agenda Item #19 Title APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH STUDENTNEST, INC. AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO TARGETED STUDENTS OF TITLE I SCHOOLS FOR 2006-2007 Description STUDENTNEST, INC. will provide one-on-one math tutoring at the student's home using a computer and internet.  Sessions will be recorded for future review and are generally two hours per day, two to three times per week.  Hourly rate is $60.00 and will not exceed $950.00 per student.  Contract will be paid from Title I funds as stipulated in No Child Left Behind. Recommendation That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the contract with STUDENTNEST, INC. to provide SES tutorial services to targeted Title I students.
